Holiday Cheer Before It Is Here
TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR (Cash or check only)

Hayward, Calif.  Harmony Fusion Chorus, a womens barbershop chorus and chapter of Sweet Adelines International, presents Holiday Cheer Before Its Here show with an afternoon of carols and popular holiday songs. Joining the chorus is the Devil Mountain Mens Chorus as well as Ladies First, an award-winning young womens barbershop chorus from Concord, and other performers. Show details are as follows:

Holiday Cheer Before Its Here!
Saturday, November 18, 2pm
Lynnewood Methodist Church, 4444 Black Ave., Pleasanton

Enjoy all of those holiday songs that you love, before the hustle and bustle of the holidays, to get you in the mood, says Betsy Eltgroth, show chairperson and HFC member. The concert will offer a variety of holiday music and styles, something for everyone.

This pre-holiday show has become a favorite in the community, with a variety of artists joining HFC. This year, the Devil Mountain Mens Chorus and the award-winning Ladies First acappella chorus from Concord High School are featured guests, as well as associated small groups and quartets. The chorus performance will feature holiday favorites such as All I Want for Christmas, made popular by Mariah Carey, Sleigh Ride, and Winter Wonderland, familiar carols such as Carol of the Bells, a Hanukah selection Light the Candles, and Chocolate in My Stocking, a holiday song in the barbershop style.
A main element of our mission statement is to reach out to the community, explains HFC Director Barbara Vander Putten. For me, that is especially true with respect to young performers. Each year we try to include at least one youth group in our shows. Were very proud of our support and commitment to keep music and performance alive in the schools and in the community. This concert will underscore that commitment in a big way!

Though the Holiday Cheer Before Its Here show may seem to occur a bit early in the season, concert chairperson Eltgroth says otherwise. This concert offers the community a great opportunity to relax and enjoy holiday music. It will be a wonderful afternoon of music for all to enjoy, regardless of the date.

Post-performance Reception
Harmony Fusion Chorus will host a reception for all guests immediately following the performance in the church fellowship hall.
