Shut Up and Kiss Me...with special guests, Lombard Street Experiment
Enter a world in which characters are big, emotions run on high, and hippies cavort on the same stage with speakeasy hooligans. This can only be the world of improvised theatre.
The Lombard Street Experiment opens the evening with an improvised musical set in 1969 San Francisco, blending far out tunes with fighting the man. There's riots in the streets, peace and love on Haight, the Brady Bunch on TV, a revolution in our beds, and is it the LSD talking or did some guy just walk on the moon? It doesn't get any groovier than this. Can you dig it?
Lombard Street Experiment is: Gemma Bulos, Suzanne Hitchman, Joey Neugart, Jane Delozier, and Benoit Monin.
Shut Up and Kiss Me will close out the evening with a return to our cinematic roots. The tramp, the mobster, the seductress, the innocent, the supernatural beast, the cop on his beat...any and all might convene to create a fully improvised play in the style of silent film.
Shut Up and Kiss Me is: Carrie Caudle, Nathan Emley, Drew Ross, Debra Schifrin, and Bill Stahl.
Music by Kevin Montag Lights by Rish Sanghvi
