The Poor Theatre presents THE COMING WORLD by Christopher Shinn
Directed by Will Crouse
Dora needs to break up with Eddie. He's on coke, in debt and out of a job. But breaking up with Ed doesn't mean that he's out of Dora's life. On a New England beach Ed reveals to Dora that he is now $10,000 in debt to a drug dealer and desperate for her to help him. Little does she know he's also pleading for his life. The Coming World is a play about love we can't escape from. It's about young people growing old - not up.
