Lazer Lloyd's "The Love After The Flood" was recorded in Dallas while Lazer was on tour performing at Grape Fest in Grapevine, TX. This was not a pre-planned recording but was put together in honor of the amazing flood relief work following Harvey and a desire to show appreciation and spread positivity during a difficult period. 100% of the proceeds from downloads and streaming of the song will go to the Rebuild Texas project. The entire Texas team pulled together quickly to produce the song and the video - including Colin Alexander on bass and Josh Rodgers on drums. Josh introduced us to Luminous Studio in Dallas and they sent - on a moment's notice - the amazing studio engineer T.J. Callaway.
T.J. introduced us to Quan Tran a professional video editor born and raised in Houston and has family there as well struggling in the aftermath. Quan whipped up the incredible video and introduced us to Sianey Montes de Oca a Houston native whose parents house was destroyed in the flood. Sianey did the powerful graphic in the poster. Renowned Red Dirt radio promoter Ed Spacek is sending out the song to Texas radio.
Our long-time friend Rabbi Yossi Lazeroff welcomes you to hear Lazer Lloyd on the Texas A & M campus in their beautiful social hall. Everyone is welcome!! We are so grateful and excited and looking forward to sharing the inspiring music of Lazer Lloyd with all of you in person.
Lazer's new release "Freedom's Child" popped up a whopping 90 points in its first week on the AMA Americana Chart. Thank you to the many great radio stations spinning the record.
Tim Parsons a thirty year veteran of the Americana and Roots Music Scene who edits and writes for Tahoe Onstage said The album is fantastic. He puts soul into every note he sings and plays. http://facebook.com/lazerlloyd
