Leo Adams Art. Home
Leo Adams is a singularly talented artist and designer who has been a creative force in the Pacific Northwest for almost 50 years. Although firmly rooted in the Yakima Valley, where he is a member of the Yakama Nation, his influence has international resonance. Generations of artists, interior designers, and architects have been fascinated, enchanted, and inspired by his home, his art, and Leo himself. His deceptively modest abode just inside the boundary of the Yakama Reservation has been featured in many important architecture and design publications.
For more than a decade, his admirers have agreed that a book needed to be published to document Adams's life and important work. In September, 2012, nationally recognized art book producer Marquand Books, in association with Tieton Arts & Humanities, will publish a fully illustrated monograph on Adams and his long and productive career. It will be distributed by University of Washington Press.
"Leo Adams: Art.Home" will ensure that one of the artistic and design masters of the Pacific Northwest is presented to a national audience. With this book, his home will be fully documented so that it can continue to influence and inspire generations to come.
