Cherish The Ladies Celtic Christmas Concert

The world famous Cherish The Ladies brings their Celtic Christmas event to the Commodore Barry Arts and Cultural Center in the Mt Airy section of Philadelphia on Friday, December 8 at 8:00PM.
Joanie Madden, founder of the Cherish The Ladies, has been performing throughout the world for more than 30 years She has won the world championship in Irish music on both the concert flute and tin whistle. Joanie also became the first American to win the coveted Senior All-Ireland Championship on the whistle. Mary Coogan is a founding member of Cherish The Ladies. She is a self-taught guitar, mandolin and bouzouki player. Acoustic Guitar Magazine named Mary one of the top four Celtic guitarists in Celtic music.
Mirella Murray grew up in Claddaghduff off the coast of Connemara. Mirella is an all-Ireland accordion player.
Kathleen Boyle is a talented pianist and accordion player and has won All-Scotland and All-Britain titles on both.
Nollaig Case has a unique way of playing traditional Irish music on the fiddle and has toured worldwide with top artists.
