Comedy's Most Wanted at The Parlor Live!
Manny Martin & Silas Lindenstein present Comedy's Most Wanted at the Parlor Live Comedy Club. On this night you will get to see some of Northwest's most sought after comics sling their comedy stylings in a night to remember.
This promises to be an evening of side splitting laughter as Manny & Silas. l present one headlining comics along with four of Seattle's most exciting rising comedians. This inaugural edition will be headlined by Derek Sheen, the night before he embarks on his first World Tour. Derek Sheen is fresh off of releasing his premiere CD Holy Drivel and is described as "A cuddly mess of insecurities; Derek enjoys over-sharing about his personal failures, the most intimate details of his secret thoughts and loves making audiences laugh, even when they feel like they shouldn't."
Joining Derek this evening will be Leah Mansfield, Douglas Gale, Hannah Boone, and Sean Murphy.
Leah Mansfield, winner of the Best of the Fest at the 2011 SLO Comedy Festival in 2011 and an invited competitor in the 2010 & 2011 World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas Nevada, Leah is an adorable, hilarious comedian who travels the country performing at comedy clubs and bars alike. She has recently made Seattle her new base location after making a name for herself in the Midwest comedy circuit.
Hannah Boone, a quarter-finalist in the 2012 National Comedy Competition and also selected in the for the 2012 Seattle International Comedy Competition, Hannah is making a name for herself as one of the funniest new comics around.
Douglas Gale started doing comedy in Seattle eight years ago, quickly becoming one of the newest comics on the scene. During the day he is an unpaid biochemical engineer, spending his time converting oxygen to carbon dioxide. Douglas has performed on shows with people you have heard of and many many people you have not. He was the host of a podcast called Delicious Mediocrity that dozens of people listened to every week. Douglas knows you have never heard of him but promises that you that he is very funny.
Sean Murphy brings to the stage a down to earth charm that is infectious and hilarious. Hailing from New York, Sean's intelligent, thought provoking and wickedly funny sensibility will have you cracking up from start to finish. He was a recent finalist in the Jai Thai 2nd Annual Comedy Competition.
