The Igloo Collective Presents: It's a Wonderful Life! A Live Radio Play

More about The Igloo Collective:

We are about good work, incredible stories, and bringing new ideas to the stage.

We are committed to never rushing the creative process, never short cutting and always producing quality work with quality artists. We are not afraid of the avant-garde, and we promise that every piece we produce will be highly different from the last. We will push the envelope and always plunge head first into unknown territories.

To us, igloo is a word of love. A word of support. Igloo means all of us and all of you.

The Igloo Collective will perform anywhere. To us it's not the venue, but the story that defines us. Sure, we'd perform in Carnegie Hall, but we'd also perform in a cardboard box. Hell, we'd even perform in an igloo.

More about the Brook Arts Center:

The Brook Theatre opened January 19, 1927 as a vaudeville house, originally with about 1,250 seats. Features a full proscenium stage with five floors of dressing rooms, an orchestra pit and a large chorus room under the stage. The theatre fronts on Hamilton Street with a large sloped floor lobby that leads to a spacious inner lobby. The theatre itself is behind the Morecraft building, parallel to Hamilton Street.

Since flooding caused by Hurricane Floyd in September, 1999, the main auditorium was closed to the public. The Brook Arts Center, Inc. purchased the building in 2003 with funding provided by the NJ EDA. The US EDA is providing $2.4M in funding for renovations set to begin in January, 2004. The theatre was due to reopen late in 2004 with 475 seats. It fully reopened in September 2009.
