Diary of a Wimpy Kid is one of the biggest series on the middle grade shelf, and Anderson's is thrilled to welcome back the creator, Jeff Kinney, to celebrate the release of the latest installment, "The Getaway!"
To escape the stress of the holidays, the Heffleys decide to get out of town and go to a resort instead of celebrating Christmas at home. But what's billed as a stress-free vacation becomes a holiday nightmare.
Join us for this special event! Your timed-entry ticket includes:
Admission for two people (a reader and a parent is a-ok!)
One copy of the new book, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Getaway"
Access to a room full of free activities, music and fun
A reserved place in the signing and photo line to meet Jeff
What to expect:
You will enter into the activity room first to participate in whatever games you would like. Please plan to arrive about 30 minutes prior to your ticket time in order to do this.
At your ticket time, we will line you up in order of your seat/ticket number so you can meet Jeff, get your book signed, and get a photo.
After you meet Jeff, you can exit the building and enjoy the rest of your night.
We will have additional copies of the new book as well as older titles (pre-signed) available for purchase at the event. He will sign all the books you have with you in line.
Here's what you shouldn't expect:
An autograph in the new book that you bought elsewhere
A presentation or book talk
A personalization in any book
Once your time is called, you will line up and then get to meet Jeff and have a quick picture taken. This order is not based on when you arrive but what time your ticket says! Please carefully note your ticket time and plan to arrive before that time. We cannot guarantee the length of time that any author will be with us.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you miss the event, in order to receive your book you will need to contact us within 30 days of the event.
