Haunted Fort
Please note that all tickets to the B Street Theatre shows on Friday, October 27 and Saturday October 28 have sold out. We will still have walk-in tickets available at the Gate. Gate tickets will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids 6 and up. Space for B St Theatre shows is extremely limited, and available on a first come, first serve basis. Show times are 6:45 p.m. 7:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.
Looking for a fun family-friendly Halloween event? Join Friends of Sutter's Fort for Haunted Fort!
During Haunted Fort, guests will be invited to explore Sutter's Fort State Historic Park after dark, at your own pace. Our knowledgeable docents will share scary, spooky and sometimes disturbing details of pioneer life in the 1800s, and you'll have opportunities to participate in fun and interactive stations set-up throughout the Fort!
This year we are also thrilled to be joined by talented performers from B Street Theatre Company, who will be giving short 10-15 minute family-friendly performances in our Distillery room.
Visiting Sutter's Fort after dark is a unique experience that you won't want to miss!
All proceeds of Haunted Fort go to supporting the work of the nonprofit organization, Friends of Sutter's Fort, which works to preserve, protect and enhance Sutter's Fort State Historic Park and to support the educational programs at the park.
1. Please purchase your tickets based on the time of the B Street Theatre performance you wish to attend. You will be allowed entry to the Fort anytime after gates open at 6:30 and can stay until gates close at 9 p.m. However, due to limited indoor seating, you will only be able to attend the B Street performance indicated on your ticket.
2. Please note that Haunted Fort tickets are nonrefundable.
3. The event will take place regardless of weather. Please come prepared if there is rain.
4. Sutter's Fort will be dimly lit for this event. Guests are welcome to bring flashlights and/or glow sticks. Please note that this is a historic property, and there are dirt floors and the ground is uneven in some areas.
