Jazz Walk 2017
Whatcom Jazz Music Arts Center presents its first annual Jazz Walk on Thursday, November 16th from 6:00 - 11:00 pm in the Arts District of downtown Bellingham.  Six venues will host twelve jazz bands. Different bands and styles of Jazz will be featured at the various venues - Bop, Swing, Funk, Vocalists, you name it - from hard blowin' quintets to quiet acoustic duos and swing dance bands - there's something for every taste.  One ticket gets you in to any or all of the shows!  Event maps and more information are available on our website, www.wjmac.org , and at the Sylvia Center, 205 Prospect Street, Bellingham, the night of the Jazz Walk.  The Whatcom Jazz Music Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit jazz education organization for high school musicians.  WJMAC also puts on weekly concerts featuring regional and national professional Jazz artists.  This Jazz Walk is a fundraising event, and 100% of money raised will directly benefit the WJMAC education program!  Come hear some great Jazz, help a great cause, enjoy our great community!
