Faye Moskowitz- The Wonder of Growing up Jewish
Acclaimed memoir author and former Chair of the English Department at The George Washington University, Faye Moskowitz, has been a major force in shaping dialogue about Jewish American fiction. Moskowitz, who began writing in her 40s, has published four books and had her poems, essays, book reviews, and short stories published in The Washington Post, the New York Times, Womans Day, Jerusalem Post, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and Lilith Magazine. She was a commentator on NPRs All Things Considered and is presently poetry editor of Moment Magazine. Faye is the founder of GWUs Jewish Lit Live!, a class which opens doors for students to hear from and ask questions of best-selling Jewish authors. She has given over 500 talk/readings across North America and Israel.
