Whether you are a competitive athlete or a weekend warrior, fueling your body with the proper nutrition is essential to building a solid foundation for performance and recovery. Join Julie Young of Dai Endurance, a 12-year US National Cycling A team member, world tour cyclist and the Director of the Kaiser Sports Med, Endurance Lab, at the Golden One center; Michael Sayers, a retired professional cyclist and Head Coach for USA Cycling Men's National Team and a two-time Olympic Coach; along with Chef Mayumi Tavalero, Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist and owner of Fork and Knife Creations, as they discuss how to phase activity with nutrition and how to cook a nutrient dense menu: poached eggs with greens and spicy tomato sauce, spinach stuffed chicken breast with roasted root vegetables and grass-fed beef meatloaf with "green" mashed potatoes.
Instructor: Mayumi Tavalero with Julie Young and Michael Sayers of Dai Endurance.
