Wisconsin Foodie & Driftless Cafe collaboration dinner with Ridgeland Harvest CSA farm
WISCONSIN FOODIE & DRIFTLESS CAFE DINNER COLLABORATION WITH RIDGELAND HARVEST CSA FARM
Join us on Saturday, September 30th as we travel to the beautiful Driftless region of Wisconsin and experience a magical 5-course dinner prepared by Luke Zahm of the Driftless Cafe. This meal will be served on the certified Organic CSA Farm, of Matt and Cate Eddy in Viroqua, WI.
This past February, Luke was a semi-finalist for a James Beard nomination, which put his passion and dedication to local food on the national stage. He has also been named a two-time Local Hero by Edible Madison and is a frequent guest on Wisconsin Foodie
Luke, staying true to his style, has created a 5-course dinner menu with beer pairings from Capital Brewery to highlight the farm, and the very best the Driftless region has to offer. He has also invited Wisconsin artisans featured on the menu, to join in this unique experience.
This is your chance to taste all that the Driftless Region has to offer, AND! Meet some of the familiar faces seen on Wisconsin Foodie episodes.
Reception begins 4:30 p.m. - Live music from local musicians
Cocktails featuring Deaths Door Distillery and beer from Capital Brewery
SNACKS INCLUDE
- Smoked trout pate with horseradish and crackers, beet cured salmon with radish, herbs, and chopped egg, Emmi Roth assorted cheeses with S.A. Braai chutney and assorted charcuterie and pickles.
Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m.
MENU:
-Butternut squash soup with Organic Valley Creme Fraiche
-Autumn salad of roasted squash, black walnuts, fried bread, and herbs served family style.
-Focaccia with Roth Raclette and Ridgeland Harvest vegetables served family style.
-Braised pork with fried polenta, roasted Ridgeland Harvest vegetables, and truffled apple butter served family style.
THE SWEET NOTES:
-Apple crisp with brown butter ice cream served with Colectivo Coffee.
This event will be held outside on the farm.
Refunds are not available can be exchanged for a different event.
