Legacy Film Festival on Aging
We are celebrating the 7th Annual Legacy Film Festival on Aging: 9 separate programs of films during the three day event, September 15-17, 2017, at the New People Cinema, 1746 Post St, in Japan Town, San Francisco.
We are showcasing little-known, independent short films, documentaries and feature length narrative stories made in the USA, as well as Japan, Spain, Australia, Canada and Wales. As always, there will be a post-screening Q&A for each program. Each of the nine programs has a theme. These are: Legacy Shorts, Discovering the Self, Choices, Making a Difference, Last Exit, A Musical Romp, Stay or Leave, Caring, and Moving Forward.
One of the viewers answered the post-screening evaluation by stating: The festival allows younger people to see their potential in older years and older people to appreciate their journey in later life.
The Legacy Film Festival on Aging emphasizes how aging can be a great adventure. So come and see for yourselves!
