Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas presents Love Songs & Brahms
Celebrate love with songs of romance and friendship inspired by the music of the most famous composer of the Romantic Period, Johannes Brahms. All six downtown children's and youth choruses will be joind by CCGD's three west Dallas neighborhood choruses. Concert highlights include settings of texts by poets Emily Dickinson and William Shakespeare and high school students singing selections of Liebeslieder Walzer Opus 52. Cynthia Nott, Linda Harley, Terrie Preskitt-Brownn, Kelly Pfaffenberger, Nora Henson, and Merily Colley conduct.
