Chamber Orchestra Ogden Concert
Chamber Orchestra Ogdens first concert of the 2017-2018 season will feature pianist Vedrana Subotic performing Beethovens Piano Concerto No. 4 in G, Opus 58.

A native of the former Yugoslavia, Vedrana Subotic came to the United States after winning the top prize in its national piano competition. A Steinway Artist, she performs in dozens of concerts every year as a recitalist, chamber musician, and concerto soloist, nationally and internationally. Vedrana is an Associate Professor of piano at the University of Utah, and President of the Intermezzo Chamber Music series. She holds five performance degrees including a DMA from Indiana University, where she studied with legendary pianist Menahem Pressler of the Beaux Arts Trio.

The concert will open with Beethovens Leonore Overture No. 3, Opus 72b, followed by Bizets Carmen Suite No. 1, and finishing with the piano concerto.

Chamber Orchestra Ogden performs at Peerys Egyptian Theater, 2415 Washington Blvd in Ogden.  This historic theater is the orchestras home, and is a beautiful venue with excellent orchestra acoustics.

Tickets are $8.00, and as always, active military, veterans, and their families, are admitted without charge, as are music students of public school age, but free tickets are only available at the door if there are seats available.

Well behaved children 8 years and over are welcome to attend.
