Flying Free 2017
Join Colorado Native Bird Care & Conservation for our first annual fundraiser, Flying Free 2017! CNBCC is a 501c3 non-profit wildlife rescue in Lyons, CO that specializes in songbirds and bats. Event is on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 5 pm - 8 pm at the Firehouse Art Gallery in Longmont, Colorado.

Enjoy live music from local singer/songwriter Tim Ostdiek while grabbing a bite at our complimentary vegan chili and vegetarian dessert bars, all while browsing our silent auction! Drinks will be provided by the Firehouse Art Center's cash bar.

Place a bid or two on the fabulous available items which include local art, food and drink gift cards, retail goodies, fitness classes, pet care items and more!

We will end the night with a bidding game, emceed by Andy Eppler of the Prairie Scholars, and a presentation on wildlife rehabilitation put on by CNBCC rehabilitators and board members.

A full-time singer/songwriter, Tim Ostdiek is a playful and dynamic entertainer, an uplifting songwriter, and a tastefully refined guitarist. There is a simplicity and openness in Ostdieks music that might come from growing up in the small town of Scottsbluff, Nebraska with his close family. He  grew up on Paul Simon, Jackson Browne, and Bruce Springsteen. In August 2016 he quit his coffee shop job to be a full-time artist and is currently working on his first full-length album expected to be released in early 2017. Stay up to date with Tim's music at

Mr. Eppler is best known as a songwriter. He has written, recorded, and produced four solo albums of his original music, eight original albums with his wife as their band The Prairie Scholars, and one audio collection of his poems and short stories. Mr. Eppler has also recorded and produced five albums of solo material by his partner and bride Jessica Eppler. His work was featured and compared to that of Mac Davis, Terry Allen, and Butch Hancock in volume eight of Journal of the Society for American Music published by Cambridge University Press in 2014.
