A highly successful business leader with more than 35-years of experience driving strategic business development, technical knowledge, and financial planning for both start-up and mature companies. Recognized internationally for his ability to capitalize on business opportunities and deliver consistent revenue and profit growth. An astute manager of cross-functional, diverse teams, he excels at creating high-performing organizations and developing managers into recognized experts in their respective fields.
Founding his first company, Microtek Laboratories, in 1986, he served as President and CEO for 30-years. Under his leadership, Microtek Laboratories grew to an internationally recognized, fully Accredited A2LA/ISO-17025 test laboratory serving clients in the electronic materials and technology fields worldwide with facilities in Anaheim, CA and Baltimore, MD. In 2002, he expanded and co-founded Microtek (China) Laboratories in Changzhou, China, a joint venture with a former China government test facility. In 2014, he expanded Microteks global presence and co-founded Microtek Laboratories Ltd. in London (Farnborough) England as the majority shareholder. In 2015, he successfully negotiated the acquisition of Microtek Laboratories U.S. based facilities by National Technical Systems (NTS) where he has been retained as a Senior Advisor to NTS.
In addition to his success developing Microtek Laboratories, Mike also co-founded and served as CFO of Integrated Reliability Test Systems (IRTS) in 2003 in engineering, design, development, and marketing of the Highly Accelerated Thermal Shock (HATS) test system. He managed all financial and business development, operations and marketing efforts for this provider of specialized testing systems and services globally.
With his career passion for Business Development, he now works with direct companies to grow and succeed by developing their managers into dynamic leaders driving business success. Peritia has been named CRESTCOMs partner in the Orange County region of Southern California conducting monthly Management & Leadership Development Training sessions for key management personnel for growing companies throughout California.
