Hand to God
This new American dark comedy is set in the devoutly religious small town of Cypress, Texas. Pastor Greg has asked the recently widowed Margery to run the Fundamentalist churchs puppet ministry. The teenage members of the club are her son Jason; Jessica, the girl next door that Jason has a crush on; and Timmy, the neighborhood troublemaker. The club is to perform at church next Sunday, when Jason's hand puppet, Tyrone, takes on a life of his own. Apparently possessed by the devil, Tyrone exposes secrets that the characters would rather have left unacknowledged.
