The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science, Education Department is happy to announce that we are welcoming back and hosting the popular and educational Friday Fractal events!
Explore the never-ending world of fractals in this award-winning and inspiring planetarium show. The shows take the audience on a journey through the infinitely complex patterns known as fractals. This live, narrated show explores the fractal patterns in nature as well showing how math can become incredibly beautiful. The beautiful abstract landscapes that emerge from simple equations inspire fascination and wonder, as they bring us face to face with the Infinite. Suitable for all ages.
Doors open at 5:30p.m. Please do plan to arrive and pick up your tickets at least 15 minutes before each show. Due to the darkness of the Planetarium, late seating is never permitted, sorry no exceptions.
Do note that each show is sold individually, and tickets will not be transferred or honored from a different show time or date.
The Friday Fractal events do sell out quickly! The Fractal Rocks! program is also offered: Jan 4, 2013 at 8pm and 9pm - Look for a separate Brown Paper Ticket event listing.
