Shirley Gnome's Awkward Christmas Party
Jingle balls, jingle balls, jingle all the balls. It's time for a cozy, intimate and uncomfortable night of dirty c*untry from the reigning queen of smutty songs, Shirley Gnome! This year's 1st prize winner of Patrick Maliha's The People's Champ of Comedy, Canada's largest comedy competition, Gnome has just recently released her newest CD C*untry Music to a sold out crowd. She's following up her recent success with a big old hoot-a-nanny for the holiday masses! Hallelujah!
The night will be full of special surprises, including fabulous guest singers (including the magnificently harmonized vocal stylings of The Boner Sisters), door prizes, and maybe a few dirty holiday stories!
For all you die-hards, the first set of the evening will be a performance of all Shirley's classic tunes from her debut album, Ho Down. It will also be the debut of a few new songs, including a new holiday tune entitled "I Hate Christmas." AWKWARD.
The night begins early for all those who still gotta work in the morning, and stays open late for those who want to make things weird into the wee hours. The last show sold out very early so make sure get there with enough time to spare! Tickets will be $10 at the door!
