Mark Cabus in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol
Once again, actor Mark Cabus presents his acclaimed one-man stage version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol to the audiences of Atlanta this December. The veteran actor plays 36 characters in his faithful adaptation of the classic tale of transformation and redemption at Agnes Scott College's Dana Fine Arts Building in the Winter Theater, December 6 and 7 at 7:30 p.m.
A skilled actor and director, Cabus was classically trained in England and in New York and has performed all over the world in film and television as well as Off-Broadway and in regional and children's theater. In Atlanta, he's known for his work with the Georgia Shakespeare Company, Theatrical Outfit and Theatre Emory. His movie and TV credits range from the Warner Bros. blockbuster "The Client" and HBO's Emmy-winning film "Against the Wall" to the NBC pilot "A Father for Charlie". "Cabus delivers a tour de force, acting out all the parts in Charles Dickens' Holiday classic and making it seem as if that's the only way it should be done...," wrote Kevin Nance, the former theatre critic for The Tennessean in Nashville. "This Christmas Carol is one of the smallest yet most sensational shows of the year. Don't miss it."
