Yellowman
Joining more than 40 theater companies and other institutions, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History will present a staged reading of Yellowman, the 2002 Pulitzer Prize finalist for Drama by Dael Orlandersmith, on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at 3PM.

The reading, directed by award-winning stage veteran Lynch R. Travis and starring K Edmonson (ALMA) and Santino Craven (EUGENE), is part of the One Play One Day national annual initiative helmed by Project1VOICE Inc. Project1VOICE is an internationally recognized 501(c)(3) performing arts service organization committed to presenting programs that promote and support the American theater, specifically black playwrights.  One Play One Day is Project1VOICEs signature event. It revives and reintroduces classic plays from the American theater canon that have been forgotten.  Each year typically on the third Monday in June (Juneteenth), same-day staged readings of the same play are presented. Hence the name, One Play One Day.   One Play One Day is now in its seventh consecutive year.
