2nd Annual Riverfolk Benefit Concert at the PAC in Astoria, Oregon features acclaimed blues performer and John Fogerty's current keyboard man, Bob Malone, with Alexa Wiley, Dan Weber, and Tom May with Donnie Wright.
Tickets are $20.00, and VIP packages, including a front row seat, dinner at Fulio's Restaurant in Astoria, and an autographed 11x17 poster are $175.00.
We will be raffling off one of folk legend Tom May's guitars off along with CDs (yet to be determined) from Music Millennium in Portland.
There will also be a "Sushi Chef Live Auction:, where the top bidder will get a local sushi chef Jessi Anderson come to your home and cook sushi for two!

BOB MALONE
BOB MALONE has toured the world as a solo artist for two decades and has played keyboards with rock legend John Fogerty since 2011. Classically trained, with a degree in jazz and a lifetime playing rock & roll clubs, theatres, and arenas, Bobs sound is a one-of-a-kind hybrid of rock, blues, and New Orleans R&B, delivered with high-energy piano virtuosity and a voice all his own.
Born and raised in New Jersey, he has lived in New York City, New Orleans and Boston, and is currently based in Los Angeles. As a solo artist, Bob plays around 100 shows a year in the US, UK, Europe and Australia - including sets at Glastonbury Music Festival (UK), Colne Blues Festival (UK), Long Beach Bayou Fest (US), Falcon Ridge Folk Fest (US), Blue Mountains Music Fest (AU), and Narooma Blues Fest (AU). He has been featured twice at WWOZ Piano Night in New Orleans, and has opened for Boz Scaggs, Subdudes, The Neville Brothers, Rev. Al Green, BoDeans, Dr. John, Marcia Ball and many others. As a member of John Fogertys band, he has played with Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger, Jackson Browne, Jimmy Buffett, and Alan Toussaint.
Malones 2015 album, Mojo Deluxe, has received a long list of rave reviews, spent months on the Living Blues, Relix/Jambands.com, Roots Music Report and Americana Music Association (AMA) radio charts in the US, and reached #1 on the Independent Blues Broadcasters Association (IBBA) chart in the UK. Videos from Bobs upcoming Mojo Live DVD have recently been premiered by Relix Magazine and Alternative Root Magazine.
Bobs music is heard regularly on Dr. Phil, Entertainment Tonight and The Rachel Ray Show, and he has appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman and The View with John Fogerty.
Kurzweil Music Systems chose Bob to make the demo videos for their new Forte digital piano, and he is endorsed by QSC Audio, Hammond Organ and Fishman Acoustic Transducers.

ALEXA WILEY
Wild metaphorical music that rocks (Oregon Music News, 2015) has been used to describe the sound of Alexa Wiley & the Wilderness, a Portland-based band with an abundance of local musical roots.
Alexa Wiley is the singer-songwriter who nourishes the bands unique blend of meaningful lyrics surrounded by the fully realized Americana-rock of Bret Malmquist (guitar virtuoso), Steve Dearborn (musical savant), Sean Oldham (hall of fame drummers drummer) and Dale Turnbull (bass pocketeur).

DAN WEBER
Award Winning songwriter Dan Weber has been described as "The Classic Mid-Life Overnight Sensation" after bursting onto the festival scene in 2010 to a standing ovation at the Sisters Folk Festival for his engaging set in the Dave Carter songwriting contest. Since then hes toured extensively across the country becoming a rare 3 time finalist in the legendary Kerrville New Folk competition, had 2 top finishes in the Woody Guthrie songwriting contest and in 2015 won the prestigious Winfield, Kansas NewSong contest for Oh Woody, his anthemic tribute to Woody Guthrie, that rose to #2 on the Folk charts in 2015.
An ex-Park Ranger, Eagle Scout, Altar boy and lifelong Deadhead, he left his hometown of Rochester, NY in 1989 in a beat-up primer grey 78 Pontiac Trans-Am with a guy named Joe hed met in a bar the night before, and never looked back. Living first in Seattle during the grunge era, then off the grid in a sheepherders trailer in Utahs remote Canyonlands National Park, Weber eventually moved back north to Portland, OR, and settled in a 1948 Kaiser shipyard workers house in Vancouver, WA. Along the way he picked up stories and hitchhikers and eventually, picked up a guitar and began writing songs.
Weber began performing later in life at age 40 but being a gifted storyteller, he quickly won over audiences with his natural charisma, upbeat performances, authentic songwriting, and off-the-cuff hilarious stories from the many roads hes traveled. None other than legendary Folk troubadour Ramblin Jack Elliott said "I love Dans songs and he tells really good stories."
His songs have been described as "Guthrie-esque and reminiscent of early John Prine" and "A rare combination of wit, emotion and Harry Chapin-esque imagery" and the UKs Maverick Magazine said: "4 Stars: The touch of a true Master Craftsman songwriter." Theres also been recognition from DJs: "Hank and Jesus is easily the best folk song I heard last year" and The Victory Review wrote "Weber's writing is as strong as any in the Contemporary Folk community. Goodbye to Dad is one of the best original tunes that I have heard in a long time."
After the success of 2015s release of What Im Lookin For, a 14 song CD of classic Folk and Americana that climbed to #6 on the charts and included Oh Woody as well as the breakout hit (I Deal with) Crazy ALL Day, an everymans anthem and crowd sing-a-long favorite, Weber is currently working on his first live recording and new material for an upcoming CD. If his phenomenal growth in such a short period of time is any indication, it promises to be his best work yet.

TOM MAY with Donnie Wright
Writing and playing his own music, and eloquently interpreting the songs of others; sharing through his music history, romance, and his travels with audiences throughout the U.S., Canada and overseas in concert halls and clubs; hosting and performing weekly on the national radio/TV program River City Folk; that is just a glimpse at some of the highlights of Tom May's more than 40 years as a professional folksinger.
Originally from the plains of Nebraska, Tom has called Toronto, Boston, St. Louis, Omaha, and since 1996, the Pacific Northwest, home. On twelve and six string guitars, he accompanies his baritone voice with intricate stylings not often heard in folk music. Stories, humor, and occasionally even the Irish pennywhistle introduce the songs featured in his concerts.
Tom May has performed in every region of the U.S., as well as Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany and Belgium. His performing venues have included prestigious concert halls, small town auditoriums, and humble coffeehouses--all of which have given him an uncommon rapport with audiences both large and small. His festival appearances include The Kerrville Folk Festival; the Napa Valley Music Festival; Sisters Folk Festival; (Oregon) The Juan De Fuca Festival (Port Angeles, Washington); and dozens more.
Toms music was chosen to represent Nebraska at the National Arts Councils annual conference in 1994 and 1995 in South Carolina and Omaha. In September of 1994, Tom headlined a special series of concerts with the Omaha Symphony Orchestra, one of the most acclaimed regional orchestras in the U.S. He performed a set of his music with full orchestral accompaniment to capacity crowds. In 1997 and 1998, Tom did a series of concerts throughout Alaska in honor of the Klondike Gold Rush centennial. Other highlights include performing appearances at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, and special concerts and events across the continent.
Tom has toured with and opened for many well known artists, such as Gordon Lightfoot, Alabama, Willie Nelson, and many others. He currently performs and tours solo or with his acoustic trio, consisting primarily of Donny Wright on bass and Fuzzy Purcell on lead guitar. He has also released fourteen critically-acclaimed, widely-distributed albums. His most recent CD is the 2013 release, Before the Time Slips Away, with his longtime pal Chris Kennedy from Wyoming.
In addition to his live concert appearances, he has appeared on dozens of radio and television programs, including National Public Radios syndicated Mountain Stage, Radio Eirhenns (Ireland) Andy OMahoney show, and the Canadian Broadcast Corporations Ian Tyson Show (Television) to name just a few.
Tom also produces and hosts his own national radio/TV broadcast, River City Folk. The show is heard weekly on over 100 radio stations from Alaska to New York. River City Folk highlights the vitality of the acoustic music scene by featuring diverse performers and styles. The radio version of River City Folk remains one of the premier showcases for acoustic singer/songwriters nationally as it nears its 30th anniversary in 2015.
In 1994, the popularity of the radio program led to a television version of the program that Tom hosted. The show was produced for the Americana Cable Network out of Branson, Missouri. The show aired on commercial and cable outlets across the U.S., and can still be seen on select public television stations. In 2007, Tom was the primary author of a book (along with Dick Weissman) commissioned by international publisher Routledge, based in New York. Promoting Your Music; The Lovin of the Game features interviews with Gordon Lightfoot , Eliza Gilkyson, and others, as well as Mays own insights on this artistic profession.
He also coordinates and founded Winterfolk, a benefit for Sisters of the Road Café - an annual SRO benefit concert at Portland, Oregons Aladdin Theatre, which has become Portland, Oregons largest annual acoustic music celebration. Through the years Tom has directed and consulted for many other festivals as well, including the Festival at the Fort in Omaha, Nebraska; The Lark at the Mountain festival at Mt. Rainier, Washington; and the North Coast Festival in Ocean Shores, Washington.
Over 40 years as a professional musician has led Tom May to describe the "true wealth of the music business--the friends that you made and the folks you are lucky enough to have a chance to play for." He has lived a life performing, writing, and promoting this music that he truly believes is "music that makes a difference."
