Married with Chitlins performs at St. Lawrence Arts
Married with Chitlins is an acoustic music duo of Liz and Chris Lannon that performs Traditional American music, Old Time Country and Blues, some Jazz standards and Celtic reels and jigs. We are mainly guitar and fiddle with a strong female lead vocal with harmonies.
This amazing acoustic duo combines their talents to present a performance unparalled by few. Chris plays guitar while Liz performs on fiddle. Mandolin and harmonica are interspersed throughout their songs. Liz's vocals are evocative, while Chris' harmonies blend seamlessly to provide a toe-tapping time.

Chris' background includes touring and recording as bass player in a band with Ben Orr (The Cars), recording and providing live sound support for Peter Wolf (J. Geils Band), as well as providing studio support for Carly Simon and Don Was. Blues Party - 1998
This new album, "Chris and Liz Lannon", released tonight, surpasses expectations since a guest performer entertains alongside the Lannons on nearly every track. Tonight' s show features one of those fellow musicians. The addition of a third player rounds out the sound, adding an even greaetr, richer sound.
