~ Music Performed by SARA PETITE ~

Being called everything from "Outlaw country" to "AAA singer-songwriter," Petite's songs revive fond memories of history, home and travel. She has played all over the United States & Europe. Locally in 2009, she was the Best Americana Country Band in San Diego. She released a third CD in 2010.

~ KEYNOTE Speaker: PAUL K. CHAPPELL ~

on "Why Peace is Possible and How We Can Achieve It"

Chappell is the Peace Leadership Director for the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation. He graduated from West Point in 2002, deployed to Baghdad in 2006, and left active duty in November 2009 as a Captain. While speaking throughout the country to colleges, high schools, veterans groups, churches, and activist organizations, he is also working on his fourth book, "The Art of Waging Peace: A Strategic Approach to Improving Our Lives and the World."

Captain Paul K. Chappell has given us a crucial look at war and peace from the unique perspective of a soldier and his new ideas show us why world peace is both necessary and possible in the 21st century. ~ Archibishop Desmond Tutu, Nobel Peace Laureate

For a sample of his amazing style of speaking, check out the 14-min segment of "Is World Peace Possible?" from his talk on Sept 21, 2011 -- http://www.paulkchappell.com/2011/09/is-world-peace-possible-2/
