MAINE SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
River City Cinema presents MAINE SHORT FILM FESTIVAL Friday, April 7 at 5:30pm & 8pm Admission: $10/adult, $5/children 13 & under Concessions available Tickets also available at the door
The festival celebrates Maine, its land, its people, and its creative soul, highlighting: Maine artists, fisherman, boat builders, wilderness guides, transgender people, youth, and original screenplays in all genres: documentary, fiction, experimental, animation, comedy and horror.
The 90-minute program is now touring twelve Maine theaters through May 2017. Each screening will feature a Q&A with several of the filmmakers and jurors.

The mission of River City Cinema, a non-profit organization, is to: bring diverse films to the Bangor region educate the public about the art and history of cinema encourage filmmaking in Northeastern Maine RCCs goal is to have a multi-purpose cinema center in downtown Bangor. This facility will allow RCC to show first-run films, offer filmmakers editing and screening capabilities, and teach the public about the art of cinema through exhibits and hands-on demonstrations.
