An intimate venue. Two great performers. And the pleasure of not having to listen to the guy next to you talk through the whole show. Blue Jordan Records presents the 2008 Blue Jordan House Concert Series "The Living Room Shows." The series begins with two of Cincinnati's finest songwriters:
Mike Helm has been writing and performing in Cincinnati for nearly a decade. His virtuoso musicianship and intense, topical writing make for apt comparisons to Bruce Cockburn and Leo Kottke. He will have you on the edge of your seat.
Liz Bowater moved to Cincinnati from Chicago almost five years ago, and has taken the Queen City's singer/songwriter community by storm. Beneath the quiet exterior lies a writer and performer of enormous depth and talent. If you're not already a devoted fan, you will be soon.
