Enjoy the informal, light, funny side of Flamenco dance in courses of bulerías festeras. Seville dancer Juan Paredes teaches marcajes and llamadas por bulerías, from the security of rhythm. Participants get the chance to study in a group setting, yet be challenged at their individual experience levels, from beginner to advanced. Juan's methodology results in smiles and laughter in classes as participants become comfortable dancing in the Flamenco fiesta.
Juan Paredes is a world-class dancer who has retired from the theater stage after working as an acclaimed lead dancer for some of Spains top Flamenco performing companies, such as those of Cristina Hoyos and Mariemma. He now tours internationally sharing his contagious enthusiasm in classes that are packed in Israel, France, The Netherlands, Russia, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, and his home of Spain.
