Luna Niños: Moniquilla and Moon Monster
Join Luna Negra Dance Theater's critically acclaimed dancers for the company's family-oriented winter series, Luna Niños! Kids (and adults!) of all ages will enjoy the second episode of the adventures of Moniquilla and friends.
The world premiere, narrated dance performance finds Moniquilla and friend Veronica at school one day when they realize that pal Matias is missing. After a few adventures of their own, they realize that Matias has been abducted by the Moon Monster in search of the mysterious Book of Magic, and Moniquilla must enlist the help of former nemesis Nico to help save Matias.
Moniquilla and the Moon Monster was created by Chilean dancer and choreographer Eduardo Zuñiga.
Luna Niños presented this year in partnership with the Ruth Page Center for the Arts.
