We breath constantly, all day everyday, but are we aware of the efforts we put in?
Do you hold your breath to concentrate, in fear of pain, do lift something, when you are thinking?
Often we are doing too much work to simply breathe.
The infinite supply and flow of air is interrupted by habits of muscle tension that are invisible. When we hold our breath, we interfere movement and muscle tension in the whole body. We put too much work into this energy giving fuelling system and forget that it is natural process.

Fiona has been studying and teaching Alexander Technique for 13 years. FM Alexander was known as the breathing man when he first came up with his techniques. Fiona has continued her studies with Jessica Wolf's Art of Breathing to further hone her skills in observing habits of movement and tension to help people free themselves and get out of their way so natural breath and movement can be.
