St. Patrick's Day Concert & Dessert Intermission
Join us for a St. Patrick's Day Concert with dessert intermission.  Musician and Peace Troubadour Cecilia St. King, local musician Aaron Burdett and other Special Guests offer an evening outstanding musical entertainment!

About Cecelia St. King: Cecilia St. King is an Inner Peace Troubadour who has dedicated her life to healing our planet through the power of music. Over her 25-year career, she has performed worldwide. After running from the falling towers of the World Trade Center and discovering cancer in her throat 6 months later, her focus turned to PEACE. She is now in her 16th year of touring the United States from coast to coast.
Her work has been endorsed by the United Nations, the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence and the National Peace Academy.
Translating spirituality into song, she blends American roots music, merging rock, blues, folk, spirituals and a hint of jazz.
Her music is positive and contemporary, non-denominational and offers a powerful antidote to turmoil in our current times. Audiences are encouraged to participate, singing a joyous note, they will laugh, and might cry, but most assuredly they are left feeling a sense of hope that no doubt, leaves them wanting more.
"When words are not enough, music goes deep into the soul and can transform a seemingly hopeless situation. Why can't we all just get along? We're from One family called humanity. Isn't that enough?" - Cecilia St. King
"The world needs to hear your music. Now more than ever. - Pete Seeger

About Aaron Burdett: Aaron Burdett serves up the finest song driven Americana the North Carolina mountains has ever produced.Based in Saluda, a small town near Asheville, Aaron shares a singular perspective on the world around us, connections to places and people, and the simple pleasures of life through his heartfelt, thoughtfully crafted songs. Building on the traditions of the finest performing songwriters, Aarons original Americana music blends folk-rock, bluegrass, and blues into a sound thats at once totally original but also comfortingly familiar. His honest songwriting pours in between hammer-on chord changes and rolling crosspicking rhythms, all the while keeping at the forefront his own unique sound and authentic voice.
Aaron has released four albums prior to 2014s Fruits of My Labor: Breathing Underwater in 2012, Stand Up Eight in 2010, Resolve in 2008, and The Weight of Words in 2005.
In October of 2012 Aarons song Going Home to Carolina won Our State Magazines Carolina Songs songwriting contest, outshining over 250 other entries in this competition judged by industry professionals including members of The Carolina Chocolate Drops and Chatham County Line. And in May 2013 Aarons song Magpie won 3rd place bluegrass song in the prestigious Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at Merlefest, one of the largest and most highly regarded music festivals in the US for traditional, bluegrass, Americana, and singer-songwriter artists. Over the years Aaron has been a finalist in numerous other songwriting competitions including The Mountain Stage Songwriting Contest, The NC Songwriters Cooperative Songwriting Contest, and the Hank Williams Songwriting Contest (from the old Flat Rock Music Festival).
Whether solo or with his band, Aaron Burdett is an artist not to miss. His songs will take you on a journey every time, and his voice will always lead you through those backroads and bring you home again.
