Behind the Slambovian Curtain: An Intimate Evening with Joziah Longo & Tink Lloyd of The Slambovian Circus of Dreams*
This performance offers a rare opportunity for fans to take a peek behind the Slambovian Curtain, experiencing the inner workings and essential music-making with Joziah and Tink, the founding members of alt-Americana band The Slambovian Circus of Dreams. In a most intimate setting in Cape Cod at the First Encounter Concert Series, don't miss a chance to hear many never or rarely performed songs from the past as well as a preview of songs from their next album. As Joziah sez, "All the music without the musicianship!" See up close and personal the duo that is the creative engine behind the Trans-Slambovian Bi-Polar Express!
*Formed in Sleepy Hollow, New York over a decade ago, the Slambovians pioneered the now huge Americana genre while staying on the fringes of the music industry. Winning support from indie radio and press from the outset, it is the fans that have fueled their career to international status. Likened to an array of artists including the Waterboys, Jethro Tull, The Decemberists, a quirkier Tom Petty with an exotic instrumental arsenal, their "dusty Americana ballads" evoke Dylan, Cracker, or the Wallflowers.
