Music from the Crooked Road presented by Fulton Bank
The Crooked Road is Virginias Heritage Music Trail, a driving route through the Appalachian Mountains from the Blue Ridge to the Coalfields region, following U.S. Route 58. The trail connects major heritage music venues in the region. The traditional gospel, bluegrass and mountain music heard today was passed down from the generations and lives on through a wealth of musicians and instrument makers along the trail. Berks Country Fest is bringing the music from the Crooked Road to Reading, PA on June 14. Featured guests include Claiborne Woodall, performing bluegrass and Americana music; the Glorylanders of New River Valley, a gospel acapella group; and Wyatt Rice, a member of the Crooked Road Guitar Masters. The evening will end with a group jam with all members of the visiting Crooked Road musical cast.
