Approaching Variation: Between Readers and Reception
The 2017 Stony Brook English Graduate Conference will be held at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. We are excited to bring the annual conference back to our main campus from Manhattan, where it has been held in years past.
This year's theme is reading and reception, and we are pleased to announce that the Anne P. Kahana Memorial Lecture will be delivered by James Phelan from The Ohio State University.
Our program will also include a panel about publication for graduate students, a 'best paper' award, and a reception after the conference at a nearby bar/restaurant.
