Home-brewing 101
There are a ton of ways to make coffee at home. All of them can make a really delicious cup, and they all rely on a few important concepts: water temperature, water pressure, and coffee grind size.
We're going to spend some time on one really simple way to make a fresh cup of coffee at home.
Ayr (who runs Clover) will teach you how we make coffee here at Clover, using a Melitta cone, a paper filter, a kettle of hot water, and some really great coffee from Barismo Roasters in Arlington.
Ethan (roaster) will be on hand for some expert scientific knowledge about the coffee you guys will be working with.
You'll get to pour your own cup and taste the results. Price of class includes a Melitta, box of filters, a small bag of coffee (we'll grind it for you), and some snacks.
