On Sunday, December 9, 2012, at the historic Elk's Lodge - 2255 Santa Clara in Alameda (94501), The Phillips Academy (a Children's Learning Center [CLC] school) will host the 2nd annual "M is for Music" Benefit & Concert. The event begins at 4PM; doors open at 3:30PM.
Once again, award-winning Bay Area Blues artist Tommy Castro and the Painkillers (TommyCastro.com) will rock the stage, with additional performances by The General, and our "house band," Ear to the Ground.
Along with palette pleasing foods, the event will feature nearly 50 highly-anticipated raffle and silent auction items, donated by Bay Area organizations and businesses in an effort to raise the $20,000 toward the much-needed mobile computer lab.
Prize drawings and silent auction items include everything from MOVIE TICKETS to a FENDER STRAT, SIGNED BY TOMMY CASTRO!!!
