Presented by veteran producer, Dick Taylor, Tommy Tune returns to The Purple Room. His one man show, TOMMY TUNE TONIGHT features Tunes personal renditions of standards by Irving Berlin, Kurt Weill, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, Burt Bacharach, the Gershwins, Carole King, Green Day and more. Michael Biagi, Tommy's music director for nearly four decades, will accompany him.

"Its one thing to see an artist of this caliber in a 1,200 seat auditorium," Taylor said, "but to have an opportunity to see him in an intimate supper club setting like the Purple Room - thats a rare opportunity!"

In TOMMY TUNE TONIGHT!, Tommy Tune, Broadway's tallest tapper, takes to the stage dancing, singing and tale-telling, and leading the audience on an incredible autobiographical stroll. Celebrating 50 plus years of big time showmanship from his arrival in New York City as a fresh-faced kid from Texas, through his most popular roles on stage and screen, to his ascension as one of Broadways most accomplished director-choreographers, Tommy Tune delights the audience as only a true master performer can.
