In a world where selling ction is a daily business, short animations deliver invigorating views far from the reality of live action short lms, so true-to-life. We are delighted that among this year's selection, young talents do not neglect the strength of their genre  more than any other the world of animated lms is able to undermine physical laws. 16 lms showcase a wide range of animation techniques: virtual travels with google street view, beautifully crafted cartoons, vintage stop-motion pix, a gangster puppet animation and high-end CGI. While some lms are nearly a stimulus overdose, others are reduced to the barest minimum, one shot, one take. But they do move... Oh, they move...
