Bainbridge Island goes to Spain: A night with Brendan McGill (Hitchcock Restaurant) and a few surprise friends!
Aarghhhh Maties! T'is time for Vude 5.0!
The Islanders are invading the VUDE for a special Spanish inspired evening! Chef Brendan McGill of Hitchcock on Bainbridge Island is teaming up with Andrew Will Winery of Vashon Island and Finnriver Cidery to bring us a one-of-a-kind dinnerpalooza, spotlighting Giant Pacific Octopus (wait 'til you see this guy!) and Pacific Albacore.
McGill's menu is inspired by modern Spanish cuisine, interpreted through the bounty of the Pacific Northwest. To recreate authentic Spanish food with a local focus, McGill has sourced Giant Pacific Octopus from Bering Sea cod boats through a unique arrangement with fishermen to reserve and freeze the bycatch on board exclusively for Hitchcock. Line-caught Pacific Albacore loins are fully-cured by Hitchcock Deli and Charcuterie and served as Mojama. Taylor Shellfish's Mediterranean mussels complete the bridge from Spain to Cascadia. Yum!
As always at the VUDE, we will have some special surprises in store.but we cannot mention those yet!
The suggested price for this 8-course, wine-paired meal is $125 (which includes tax and tip). This is most definitely a first come, first served deal and will not be duplicated again.
I know I personally cannot wait for this special night and am excited to have you join us. The event is by invite only and if you want others to be invited, please send us an email to the address on the right and we will email them. We already have interest from some very special guests and expect the audience to be as interesting as the meal!

NOTE: For legal reasons, this is a 'private event', not a 'public event', meaning that entrance is only allowed to Club members and you can't just walk in off the street.
