Miss Sacramento County Scholarship Pageant
The Miss Sacramento County Scholarship Program is a non-profit corporation affiliated with the Miss America Scholarship Program and our purpose is to instill in the young women of our county the principle of hard work, growth and persistence that merit ones success in life. The Miss America Organization is the largest scholarship foundation in the world for young women. More than 45 million dollars is awarded annually to more than 70,000 young women; who participate in this program each year. For 66 years the Miss Sacramento County committee has held a local program for the women in our area and that contestant goes on to represent our county in the Miss California Program.
