Gaylarious

Gaylarious is the outrageous stand-up comedy show for DC's LGBT community and our straight friends. The show is produced and hosted by Chris Doucette and Zach Toczynski - DC's favorite gay stand-up comics and booze hounds!

Gaylarious brings together the best LGBT stand-up comics from around the country for one night of ridiculous hilarity. The season ended in June with a sold-out show and a standing ovation!

It's an all-new venue!

Our former venue in Chinatown closed its doors. But we've found an even better place in Dupont Circle!

We begin our second season on October 25th at Z Lounge, located at 2147 P Street, NW. The Z Lounge is an intimate, 140-seat club located above LaKasbah restaurant. With a fully stocked bar, tapas, table service, and no item minimums, Z Lounge is the perfect new venue for Gaylarious!

And Gaylarious is kicking off the 2012-13 season in style with NEIL THORNTON and YAMANEIKA.

Considered New York City's favorite comic among gay audiences, YAMANEIKA is bold, bawdy, and takes no prisoners. She brought down the house on Fire Island with a tour de force performance that resulted in a well-earned standing ovation.

NEIL THONRTON is a sexy, funny, bear of a man. He's performed at many many comedy clubs and showcases in New York (Comix, Gotham, Broadway, Eastville, Duplex) and in Provincetown (Madiera room, Art House Theater).

And every month, Zach and Chris help a newbie get their feet wet in the seamy underbelly of the gay comedy circuit. This month, we welcome SARA ARMOUR.

Sara is a stand-up / improv / sketch comedian who currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area. She studied comedy at the Improv Asylum, the Washington Improv Theater and the DC Improv. She performed at the 2011 Del Close Marathon. She performs in Saranuta, a DC based sketch comedy group. She dies for club soda. She sleeps with silk ribbons (really). She is a silly betch.

(Please note: Our former venue had 320 seats. Our new venue has 140 seats, so we really recommend buying your tickets online to ensure you have a seat!)
