Richard Dawkins Talk at Aloha Shaka Con
Aloha Shaka Con will be Hawaii's first Freethought Convention. It is presented by The Secular Student Alliance at HPU, The Center for Inquiry, and The Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science. There will also be representation from the Center for Inquiry, the Hawaii Secular Society, Military Atheists & Secular Humanists Hawaii, and other organizations. Our key note speakers are Richard Dawkins, Elisabeth Cornwell and Sean Faircloth from the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science.
Aloha Shaka Con will be held at Pier 10 in the Aloha Tower Market Place, Honolulu, Hawaii. Doors open for the event 6pm October 3rd, 2012. Tickets are $20 General Admission or $10 for Students with valid ID.
A separate fundraising event will be held on Oct. 4 at 5:30 p.m.; minimum donations are $650 per person or $1000 per couple. This will be an opportunity to talk with Professor Dawkins in an informal small group as well as invest in the mission of the Richard Dawkins Foundation.
