A Changing City- Gentrification in Denver: The Challenges, the Possibilities, the People
three-day workshop

The Mile High City is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country. Thousands of people move here every week. Old single-family dwellings are replaced with high-rise apartments, and cranes and construction detours are common across the city. Rent and property purchase prices continue to rise. Neighborhoods are changing. Demographics are shifting. The social fabric of our city is transforming. This ongoing shift touches all of us who call Denver home. For some, Denvers changes have created great opportunities; for others, the impacts can be devastating.

Join us for a three-day workshop to explore how these complex changes are affecting our city, and to work together to forge better outcomes for all of Denvers citizens as the city grows.
