At The Shore of Her Existence
"At The Shore of Her Existence" is a Well Arts stage reading of stories written by the elders of Hollywood Senior Center in the Well Arts workshop, Voices of Our Elders. Voices of Our Elders Workshop, Hollywood Senior Center empowers anyone over the age of 60 to be the playwright of their life, writing stories from their experiences. Elders attend writing workshop facilitated by a professional theatre director, then work with professional actors to hone their stories for the stage. The professional actors read the stories written by the elders in a stage reading. This gives members in our community a voice in Portland's culture!
We also have a courtesy shuttle van (donated by Augustana Lutheran Church) to help those who need it up the hill to the theatre.
Evening Performances The van will be at the PSU Parking Garage on the west corner of SW 12th and Montgomery: 7:00, 7:15pm The van will be be at Goose Hollow at 7:07pm, 7:22pm
Afternoon Performance The van will be at the PSU Parking Garage on the west corner of SW 12th and Montgomery: 1:30pm, 1:45pm The van will be be at Goose Hollow at 1:37pm, 1:52pm
The van is dark green, so wave!
