Miso is an essential ingredient in most Japanese cuisines, adding unique flavor, protein and lots of B-vitamins. We'll make white chickpea miso from scratch and learn how it is used as a folk medicine. We will also discuss how to add it as a secret ingredient to boost the nutrition in your everyday diet.

This is a hands-on class with a vegan menu. Snacks will be served and students will receive a jar of miso to take home.
