$5 for admission, $20 for admission and purchase of original artwork print and EP download
Crane Arts 400 N American St, Philadelphia, PA 19122
This will be a one-time-only performance of Square Peg Round Hole's new EP, "Five Years." The album is a special exploration of ambient music. Like the album, the show will differ from Square Peg Round Hole's usual style of performance.
The album is also paired with an original piece of artwork by the band (Carlos Pacheco-Perez) and will be sold with a digital download of the EP. The art prints are extremely limited and will first be sold at this event. This is a rare opportunity to see the music performed and also to purchase the album and artwork to own.
~Opening music by Triangulus~
Triangulus is an art collective that expands and challenges the preconceptions of art. Some of their interests include instrument construction, computer programing, experimental percussion performance, and music composition. Members of Triangulus have presented at experimental art conferences at universities across the United States, including Georgia Tech University, Rowan University, Mary Washington University, Denison University, and Fairmont State University. Triangulus has performed in New York City venues including The Public Theater, Madison Square Park, and National Sawdust. They have appeared as soloists in front of The Ohio University Wind Symphony and will appear again in front of the Rutgers Wind Ensemble this February. Triangulus recently released an album of experimental electronic rock music entitled Rotten, featuring the use of voice, guitar, synthesizers, Haken Contiuum, Turner Winch, and drum set combined with electronic programming.
