The Nutcracker: Clara's Winter Dream 2016
This brand-new Nutcracker production showcases the students of Decatur's Dance Foundry in a delightful take on this holiday classic choreographed by Kelly Oakes-Dent and Jennilee Garcia Green. The show is ideally suited for young audiences and follows Clara from a festive afternoon skating with her friends, through a frenzied blizzard and into a fantastic dream filled with wonderful sweets and dancing flowers. High production values, charming young dancers, and a convenient location make this a great abbreviated Nutcracker ballet for you and your family.
Running time is approximately 70 minutes including a 15 minute intermission.
Parking is available in the Decatur High School lots off Howard Avenue, and in the Dekalb County Courthouse Parking Deck on West Trinity Place at Commerce Drive (Entrance on W. Trinity Place, $6 daily rate).
