We know of Elaine's stellar reputation as one of the Bay Area's premier Jazz vocalists, and now we know she has been working for many years on crafting a large body of original material that is very worthy of much wider attention. With songs that lie somewhere between modern American folk/jazz and Indie pop, the ELAINE LUCIA BAND is a new and very exciting project! The Petaluma Arts Center is delighted to welcome Elaine and her new sound for this rare performance by the resident songstress.

It's Elaine like you've never heard her before, playing guitar and singing songs straight from her heart to yours.

Elaine 's unique voice takes on a new dimension with her deeply felt, thoughtful lyrics and gorgeous melodies; her band of veteran musicians from the jazz, indie and pop genres include:

Jason Carr: Bass
Jean-Michel Hure: Guitar
Alex Aspinal: Drums

Elaine has been performing and recording since her teen years, and has produced three nationally released jazz CDs that have brought her five-star reviews and airplay on jazz stations across the country.

A classically trained (Eastman School) vocalist and singer/songwriter, Elaine brings her crystal clear tones and musician's sensibility to a unique, engaging sound. Known as a "musician's singer," Elaine has garnered the respect of her musical peers for her sophisticated songwriting, gorgeous voice, and dynamic stage presence. Elaine has an easy grace on stage, engaging with her audience with her amazingly clear and expressive vocal instrument.
